Currently teaching Building Services Engineering at levels 4 and 5 at Burnley College, Michael Maskrey stated teaching 20 years ago at Basford Hall College, now New College Nottingham. He has taught plumbing, heating and ventilation and building services engineering to apprentices and full time learners from levels 2 to 5 and his passion for teaching young people and for his subject shines through in his numerous textbooks. Having left school at 16 to train as an apprentice plumber, Michael exemplifies a successful career built through vocational learning.
